Lenovo Vibe K5 Note with 4G VoLTE to Support Reliance Jio: Lenovo launched its Vibe K5 Note smartphone back in August. Priced at Rs 11,999, the smartphone didn’t have 4G VoLTE support at the time of its launch. Now, Lenovo has rolled out a software update which adds the much-needed functionality to the K5 Note.
After installing the update, users can enable the same from mobile network settings by enabling the ‘Enhanced 4G LTE mode’ option. Once enabled, a VoLTE logo shows up in the status bar. Lenovo Vibe K5 Note’s VoLTE update is about 122MB in size, and also includes the Android security update for September, 2016.

For those unaware, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note has a 5.5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow and offers dual-SIM functionality. The Vibe K5 Note is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor clubbed with 3GB/4GB RAM. On-board storage of the handset stands at 16GB, and can be expanded further up to 128GB via microSD cards.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Note is equipped with a fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos for an enhanced user experience. For imaging duties, it has a 13MP rear camera with dual tone LED flash and a 5MP front snapper. Connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. The whole package is backed by a 3500mAh cell.

Last month, Lenovo launched the Z2 Plus smartphone in India, starting at a price tag of Rs 17,999. The smartphone sports a 5-inch Full HD display of 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.15GHz.
