As the buzz for Reliance Jio offering bundled offers for iPhone 7 build up, arch-rival Airtel has already announced an attractive bundling offer for the new iPhones’ customers. The country’s no. 1 telecom service provider is offering the new Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus smartphones on contract basis at a minimum down payment of Rs 19,990 and Rs 30,792, respectively
To awail the offer, customers need to sign up for Airtel’s plans starting at Rs 1999 for a minimum period of 12 months. Post this, customers will have to pay the Minimum Initial Payment for the device value upfront and the rest will be paid by Bajaj Finance Ltd (BFL) by way of loan for the device.
The plans offered under the bundling offer include:
- Rs 1999 plan: 5GB data+ unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile+ fixed line)
- Rs 2499 plan: 10GB data + Unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile+ fixed line)
- Rs 2999 plan: 15GB data+ Unlimited calling (local/STD/roaming- mobile+ fixed line)
BFL will finance the smartphone at 0% rate of interest. At the end of 12 months, users will need return the device and upgrade to the latest iPhone subject to the terms and conditions of Airtel. Those customers who wish to retain the device, need to make a ‘Balloon Payment’ starting at Rs 24,000. The offer is valid only for Airtel subscribers. Non-Airtel customers need to buy an Airtel connection to avial the offer.
